Specialist in Range Cookers, Wood Burning Stoves & Biomass Systems
Biomass boilers are rather different from most other stoves. The biomass boilers are designed to be kept in a utility space and function the same as a conventional boiler would. Biomass boilers can be run off pellets, logs or wood chips, and produces the hot water supply. The hot water is stored in a heat accumulator tank. These boilers are very efficient as a system of electronics and fans control the combustion of the fuel, achieving over 90% efficiency rating and low emission levels. Some systems have a large fire box which is manually filled other have augers which can feed fuel from a hopper in to the boiler as required. They are all automated and most programmable like a modern gas boiler.
